“ First time here and just the experience and vibe alone is enough to make me come back. But the complex favors of the food is an absolute must alone. I never been so satisfied but the complex and delicious favors. I wish I had a big enough stomach I would definitely love to taste every thing they have to offer. Just means that I’ll have another reason to come back. Love the old fashions as well it’s a house special blend!!! ”

I don't think I should be allowed to rate the food because I am on a vegan diet for lent, but everything I had was so rich and full of flavor. The service was superb. JuJu, our waitress was knowledgeable in the menu and confident in her recommendations, not to mention cool as hell. What really did it for me was the atmosphere..... AMBIANCE, Je t'emmerde! The moment I walked in It felt like they were pumping oxygen in through the HVAC system like they do in Vegas. I had an immediate jolt of energy and the natural lighting that shoots through the center of the dining area makes you feel like you're on vacation, I forgot I was in Chicago. The place was busy and packed with Sunday brunches who are usually obnoxiously loud, (I'm not innocent) and half-in-the-bag (definitely guilty) from the night before, but the way they have the tables situated somehow made the surrounding noise trickle off. I could only hear my date at our table, and I didn't need a microphone. I dunno if my SRI was working overtime this day, but I was thoroughly enjoying every second, and aspect of this place. 10 out of 10. ”

“ Aba is my new favorite restaurant in Chicago! It absolutely oozes with classy yet casual ambiance. We shared a variety of plates. The crispy short rib hummus was excellent and came with pillowy pita. They also accommodated a gluten free diet with delicious house made crackers. Stracciatella was our favorite dish of the night...super fresh with delicate flavors! The green falafel was crispy and moist. Crispy chicken thigh was our least favorite dish of the night because of the bold flavors. Still good but we probably wouldn’t order it again. The lamb and beef kefta was amazing though. Charred perfectly on the outside but juicy and tender inside. And I’m still dreaming out the sticky date cake! I cannot wait to return and maybe snag a rooftop table in the summer! ”
